8 Days Nile Cruise from Aswan to Aswan for 7 nights/ 8 days during Solar Eclipse

Day 1 – Friday (30-07-2027): Aswan – Kom Ombo

Arrival at Aswan airport.
Visit the Philae Temple and the High Dam.
Transfer to the dahabiya in Aswan.
Sail to a small island to enjoy a walk through the rural landscape.
Visit the Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris.
Overnight near Beshir Island.
Meals: Lunch and dinner.

Day 2 – Saturday (31-07-2027): Bissaw – Edfu

Breakfast on board.
Sail to Bissaw Island and visit.
Sail towards Edfu.
Visit the Horus Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt.
Overnight on an island near Esna.

Day 5: Tuesday (3-08-2027) Luxor, Sail to Esna – Batikh Island

Lunch and begin sailing south toward Esna.

Overnight moored near Batikh Island, a quiet spot close to Esna where you can enjoy the serenity of the Nile.

Day 6: Wednesday, (4-08-2027) Esna Lock – Edfu – El Ramady Island

Breakfast on board as the Dahabiya proceeds to the Esna Lock
Continue sailing toward Edfu, passing through beautiful river scenery and traditional Nubian-style houses on the West Bank.
Lunch during sailing toward El Ramady Island, a peaceful stretch of land far from the busy cruise routes.
In the evening, enjoy a special barbecue dinner on the island under the stars, a unique and unforgettable experience.
Overnight on El Ramady Island.

Day 7: Thursday, (5-08-2027) Bassaw Village – Gebel el-Silsila – Kom Ombo – Sail to Aswan

Enjoy breakfast on board while the Dahabiya sails toward the charming and rarely visited village of Bassaw.
Explore this small island community of around 500 inhabitants, known for its quiet, timeless way of life.
Continue sailing to Gebel el-Silsila, the ancient sandstone quarry used by many pharaohs.
Enjoy lunch on board while sailing toward Kom Ombo.
During this scenic part of the sail, you will pass to many islands
Dinner is served on board as your cruise continues sailing toward Aswan.
Arrive in Aswan around midnight and overnight on board.

Day 8: Friday (6-08-2027) Aswan – Disembarkation

Enjoy a final breakfast on board while preparing for disembarkation in Aswan.
After check out, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport or to your hotel.
